Sermon; Christmas Day: "The Incarnate Word"
Date: December 25, 2018
Liturgical Day: Christmas Day; Year C
This morning we celebrate not “the birthday of Jesus” — but the Christ Mass — the belief that as we gather together to remember the promise of our baptism, to hear God’s word proclaimed, to receive the bread and wine of the Eucharist, and to be sent into the world with the good news of the Gospel, that Christ is truly among us. And that through us, Christ is made known today in the love that we share, the good news that we proclaim, and the grace and truth that move through us, for the sake of God’s world.
